Pomoq Solutions formerly CITanimation Recognized for Excellence in Animation at the 26th Annual Telly Awards Competition
Tempe, AZ -- June 23, 2005 – Pomoq Solutions has been awarded a prestigious Telly award for excellence in animation at the 26th Annual Telly Awards Competition. The award was given for a new product demo for one of their Tucson-based clients, Langford IC Systems, Inc. The fully animated 2 minute feature helps to explain the cleaning and sterilizing process for medical instrumentation using animated characters.
The 26th Annual Telly Awards received thousands of entries from all 50 states and numerous countries.
Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions. Winners and Finalists represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world. With a 25-year history of recognizing creative excellence, the Telly Awards is a widely known and highly respected international competition.
A prestigious judging panel of over 20 accomplished industry professionals, each a past Winner of a Telly, the top honor, upholds the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents. Judges evaluate entries to recognize distinction in creative work-entries do not compete against each other-rather entries are judged against a high standard of merit. Less than 10% of entries are chosen as Winners of a Telly.
Chairman of the judging panel, Richard Friley, the Emmy and Telly Award winning President of Friley Productions commented, "I am proud to say the quality of work in this years competition was remarkable. Being chosen for recognition from this excellent entry pool is a significant achievement for which the Winners and Finalists should be very proud". For the past 25 years, the Telly Awards has been affiliated with the Center for Creativity, an organization that was founded in 1963 to research and study advertising, design, production and journalism.
