Pressbox (Press Release) -
All thanks to Ian Cawsey MP for his bill in parliament for grandparent’s right of access on 24 October 2007 The accesses we have arrived at due to our research and to cause as little or no disruption to a child’s life is as follows.
A couple of hours a month, more by negotiation through mediation. The right to keep in touch by phone, text, email, letters. Cards and prezzies at special times like birthdays and Christmas.
This is not too much to ask for another helpline to children who have no protection and could be in danger of abuse in drug and alcohol homes which is increasing every day.
The reasons why access for grandparents is a must are listed below, plus many more, they can be found by following this link. http://grandparentsapart.co.uk/forum/viewforum.php?f=11
