(Web usability techniques encourage media to visit corporate web site for online PR crisis information.)

August 13, 2001 -- More and more companies are discovering that the company web site makes an excellent communications tool in times of corporate crisis. But not enough companies yet realize it may be superior to other communications vehicles, reports the online web usability journal LeFile.com ( http://lefile.com ).

LeFile's August 13 edition reports how PR managers can use the corporate web site for online content that aid the crisis communications process.

Keys to the process are making the online content "relevant," "immediate," "fresh," and "honest," the web usability journal's editor says.

Other articles in the online PR crisis management series include content of online PR press rooms and Chapter 11 Bankruptcy communications.
