Son of Train Robber Ronnie Biggs,has been given a date for his Appeal,against the Immigration Tribunals ruling,of December 3rd 2001.

Michael will know on Wednesday March 6th 2002,if he will be granted a temporary visa,to stay in the UK,or face possible expulsion from the UK.

Michaels only reason for wishing to be in the UK is to give moral and psychological support to his father,whose deteriorating health has necessitated him being in Queen Elizabeth Hospital,four times in as many months.The decision to seperate father and son is one that Michael believes will destroy his father.

The Appeal is to be heard at Immigration Appellate Authority,Taylor House,88 Rosebery Avenue,Islington,EC1 4QU.
