Laura Pittson becomes the only solo female breakfast show host in the UK!

From Monday 15th October, Laura Pittson of Hertfordshire’s Mercury FM has now become the UK’s only female solo host of a radio breakfast show. Laura, who lives and works in Hertfordshire is delighted, “I am so excited and can’t wait to really get to know my Hertfordshire listeners.”
Before moving to Herts Mercury FM, Laura spent 4 years co-hosting on the national radio, Classic Gold breakfast show, with Tony Blackburn where she was known as Tony’s ‘golden girl’. Looking to build on her own career, Laura moved to Hertfordshire a few months ago and is settling in well to life in the Berkhamsted, area. Laura lives with her fiancée Mark, 4 step children to be and her dog Tinkerbell and she is looking forward to getting married in May next year!
As well as working on radio, Laura makes various television appearances such as appearing on the Channel 4 show ‘Britain’s Top Dog’, and she is also a regular columnist for ‘Your Dog’ magazine.
Laura Pittson AISTD (Dip.) LLAM is a trained ballet, modern and tap dancer, as well as being a qualified dance teacher. She started her career dancing and worked extensively throughout Europe and the UK, in cabaret, theatre and television.
