INFORMATION ARCHITECT PIONEER HEADS UP ZENTROPY PARTNERS’ EXPANDING IA TEAM

Zentropy Partners (UK), a leading online digital media agency, today announced that Kathleen Holman has recently joined the company to head its Information Architecture team. She is best known for designing the New York subway ticket machine interface, used every day by millions of commuters.

Previously with AtomicTangerine and IDEO London, Kathleen has over 13 years experience in designing user-centered products and services. Her projects have been diverse across technologies and industries, including kiosks, information strategies, websites, consumer electronics and computer software for clients including Merrill Lynch, Sony, Shell, Nokia, and Deutsche Telekom.

Other recent hires to Zentropy Partners’s Information Architecture team include Alex Smith and Priya Prakash. Prior to joining Zentropy, Alex Smith managed Information Architecture for European and global clients, including the re-design of ABN AMRO, a Dutch bank covering 250 sites. Meanwhile Priya Prakash worked at Hewlett Packard Labs, and was Chief User Interface designer for Smartifacts, designing user interfaces for their agent-based web search engine tools. She was also the recipient for The Inlaks Foundation Scholarship for Post-Graduate Education to study at the Royal College of Art.
