Huntley Demands £150,000 of Taxpayers Cash

Added: (Sun Jan 21 2007)

Pressbox (Press Release) - Ian Huntley maybe awarded 150,000 in legal aid funding to defend a claim that he sexually assaulted an 11 year old girl Hailey Edward's now Giblin in 1997.

If he is awarded this funding it is in breach of the Legal Services Commission's Funding code and should clearly be revoked.

The claim is that Huntley lured 11 year old Hailey to secluded woods near her home in Cleethorpes where he brutally attacked her and threatened to kill her if she told anyone, a threat we now know he was fully capable of carrying out.

His defence is that he can produce a bus ticket to prove that he was not where Hailey said he was on the day of the attack which he has made in a legal statement to the court which has to be seen as fanciful and that he wants to protect his reputation. But Huntley has no reputation to defend. He is a convicted child killer and proven liar and his defence will seriously not be believed over Haileys claim of the attack.

In essence Huntley stands very little chance of winning this court case over Hailey Giblin who made a complaint to the authorities in 1998 and has stood by these claims ever since.

What beggars belief is that public money is being squandered for the likes of this beast and it begs the question as to why and who is making the decisions to fund him.
What also is very worthy of note is who is protecting him and is there still a conspiracy theory surrounding him that has allowed him to countlessly slip through the net and to sadly kill two 10 year old girls.

The decision makers in this case at The Legal Services Commission in Brighton are David Redding and Maria O'Connell. Huntleys lawyers are Elkan Abrahamson of Liverpool law firm AS LAW. Hailey Giblins Lawyers are Richard Scorer of Manchester based Pannone telephone 0161 909 3000.
