Pressbox (Press Release) -
Future Platforms have launched a viral microsite for lifestyle dating company WooWho. The site features an animation of potential dating pitfalls, and visitors are encouraged to create a personalized version of the site for their friends, who then receive an email invitation with their name appearing as part of a personalised URL, such as http://joe.bloggs.isadatingdisaster.com
In addition to isadatingdisaster.com, two other cheeky URLs, isavirgin.com and isknockingoneout.com are also available for selection. This is Future Platforms’ first development for WooWho.
“WooWho are a great client to work for, because like us, they realize the importance of multi-channel delivery and have a number of cross platform initiatives, including WAP and SMS underway”, commented Tom Hume, Future Platforms’ co-founder.
Future Platforms and WooWho are also in discussion over a potential Sky Interactive TV version of WooWho’s dating service.
