the OTHER media, a new media technology consultancy has left Kingston on Thames after seven years to new offices near London Bridge. The move had become essential to accommodate the company’s recently expanded research and development team.
“It may seem strange to be expanding and moving when the new media industry around us is so depressed but we’re really in quite a different business from most of the design-led agencies. Our clients need more experimentation, more support and more serious technical development and that is what our new location allows us to provide.”, said George Crabb, MD of the OTHER media.
the OTHER media's research department is currently investigating how highly targeted search engines and intelligent agents can help answer the questions that you and I bring to corporate and consumer sites.
“Suddenly organisations have begun to wake up to what the web is for”, says Prof. Jonathan Briggs, Strategy Director, “The web is not simply about advertising or marketing. It is about providing useful information and two-way communication with your customers. We need to do lots of experimentation and to understand what really works.”
