Emerald 2003 Usage Stats Speak Volumes
Analysis of 7 million downloads reveals innovation, organisation, and knowledge management as hot topics
UNITED KINGDOM, 5 March, 2004 – Emerald statistics reveal the top five subject areas researched by its customers during 2003 were innovation, organisation, knowledge management, as well as marketing and business intelligence. The article downloaded most often from the Emerald database was “From Marketing Mix to Relationship Marketing: Towards a Paradigm Shift in Marketing” by Christian Grönroos, Professor of Marketing at the Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration and published in Management Decision.
Emerald, the leading international management and information science publisher, released its 2003 usage statistics today which show more than 7 million articles were downloaded from its database, Emerald Fulltext. The number reflects an 11% increase over 2002 for the same 12 month period.
