Crack magazine, a new free art and music magazine for Bristol is about to be launched. Exposing Bristol’s subculture through the wealth of art and music that slips under the radar, Crack is about to showcase some of the exceptional, burgeoning talent currently undocumented by mainstream Bristol
publications.

Crack hopes to tap into the consistent stream of creativity that Bristol produces but fails to adequately document. By offering a design structure that is spacious and affords the artists in question opportunity to have their work framed conscientiously, Crack is giving its magazine space to those who deserve it.

The magazine will be in widespread circulation in a number of clothing shops, record stores, clubs, bars pubs and coffee shops on Park Street, Gloucester Road and a number of other outlets from August 8th.

• Highly acclaimed CGI Bristol artist Chuck Elliott Recently featured on the cover of Art England magazine.
• Bristol mixed media artist Hollis, documenting the subculture of Bristol through his impressive and politicised illustrations.
• Rosie and The Goldbug- Shooting the breeze with picture perfect Cornish pop tarts with their electric lead singer Rosie Vanier.
• Portico Quartet – Mercury Music Prize nominated quartet perform an intimate gig at The Croft.

Created and produced by two native Bristolians, Crack magazine is one half journalist Thomas Frost and the other half designer Jacob Applebee.

Crack will be officially launched on August the 14that The Square Club in Clifton.
