CELTICA RADIO TO PODCAST

Pressbox (Press Release) - Celtica Radio is joining the Podshow revolution with four special new music shows a month for www.podshows.com The programmes will feature all new music, and will be exclusive to Podshows.

Celtica Radio Managing Director Bill Everatt said, “it has taken us a lot of hard work to get to this stage, and what is really exciting is that listeners to the Celtica Radio network will now be able to hear us on the move, anywhere.” “We’re also really pleased that Podshows.com felt confident in the quality of our stations output and talent base to take our programming in the first place.” “We’re now part of a network that contains the cream of UK broadcasting. It’s an honour for our independently owned station to be making programmes alongside the likes of Tony Blackburn, Paul Gambaccini, Terry Christian, Wes Butters and Daryl Denham to mention just a few. These are of some of the biggest and most respected names in the business.”

The programmes will be presented by Celticas’ own team, from their own network of studios and will be in addition to the material currently webcast from the Celtica Radio website.

Daryl Denham, one of the co-founders of Podshows.com said, “We’re delighted to be making Celtica Radio’s material available from www.podshows.com Celtica Radio will play an invaluable part in extending the range of unique programming we are able to offer.”

The presenters initially lined up for this new premium service are Karl Burtonshaw from Swansea, Pete Davies from Pembrokeshire, Steve Edge from Newtown, Bill Everatt from Bridgend, Ed Risby from St. Athan, and Fred Stacey from Newport.

Bridgend based Celtica Radio has been continuously webcasting since June 2000.
