EACH WOMAN REPRESENTS THE NEXT
New York, New York (April 3, 2007): Ms. Sheneese Starr is a power house, mind blowing, unstoppable, and motivating activist. Founder and CEO of IWIN (I As Woman INternalizing my purpose), this 28 year old activist is going head to head and blow for blow with radio stations, journalists, television shows, newspapers, and producers of music videos.
This multi-talented Queen is tearing the media to pieces on what they are implementing in the minds of this generation. The negativity in magazines, music videos, television, radio, internet, and in the fashion industry have caused lives to fall apart. This disgrace has caused damage to our youth causing teens to run away, an increase in teen pregnancy and rape cases to just name a few. Ms. Starr is taking matters into her own hands to make a change! Her divine purpose is to reeducate, uplift and restore the women of this society. Understanding that each of us as women have our own personal responsibility of being that voice, which is an inspiration. She is motivated by helping women find that place within that will nurture, heal, and inspire them.
It is constantly said that "SEX SELLS." Is it worth selling the souls and minds of billions of people to promote magazines, television shows to entertain the masses. Activist Ms. Starr is on a mission to change the current image of women. We should not compromise our integrity and our values by exploiting ourselves. We are Divine and must stand firm in our beliefs and not put our fellow brothers and sisters down in the process. We are greater as a whole and can conquer anything, however it take one to lead many.
Sheneese Starr's mission is supported by Rev. Jessie Jackson, Dr. Traci Lynn, Hilary Clinton, and Queen Shahrazad Ali just to name a few. Sheneese is a powerful force setting the platform for women to be strong. It is already evident that as women we are beautiful, have grace, and poise with these positive attributes we must be documented in the media as well as our minds. We need to promote ourselves as the positive Blak Women that we are. The main question is why don't we?
