Added: (Wed Feb 01 2006)
SEROTA library furniture has appointed TheAnswer Ltd to work on a communications programme. The decision followed meetings with two other consultancies over the summer.
Michael Serota, director of SEROTA library furniture, explains, “We have been working on the communications strategy together since the Autumn and are starting our new communications initiative to focus on our presence at the Library + Information Show in April. TheAnswer specialises in public relations work with the library and academic sector and we felt their expertise and knowledge of the relevant media would allow us to get our new public relations and marketing programme off to a flying start.”
Catherine Dhanjal, director of TheAnswer Ltd, adds, “We are delighted to be working with SEROTA library furniture. They make an outstanding range of beautifully crafted, custom-built furniture for libraries and knowledge centres – in traditional and contemporary styles. Their client list is highly impressive, ranging from leading independent schools to top professional and legal organisations such as The Royal Society of Medicine, Lincoln's Inn Library, and schools such as Eton College and The American School in London. Our mission is to increase awareness of Serota’s services in these sectors and to encourage visitors to their stand at the Library + Information Show through initiatives from work with the media to direct customer communications.”
TheAnswer specialises in working with suppliers to the information management and library sectors. Clients include world leading journal publisher Emerald; library management system and knowledge management specialist, Softlink Europe; and Fretwell-Downing Informatics, library portal and LMS experts. In the academic and government sectors, clients include Tribal Technology, IT and information management specialist; and e-SY.info, South Yorkshire’s EU-backed ICT initiative for schools and SMEs.
