RT New Look for West Beach Website

After winning a prestigious AA Award for the Best Seafood Restaurant in England, the West Beach proprietors wanted to flaunt their restaurant on a brand new website. As well as promoting their award, the site was to convey the contemporary style, warm hospitality and stunning location of the restaurant. West Beach awarded RT Media the contract to build the new site, after searching for a supplier that could build a site with imaginative panache that reflects the restaurant, but without an enormous price tag.
Ross Thornley, Managing Director of the creative design, web and marketing agency based near Bournemouth Airport, says “This was a great project for RT - West Beach appreciate contemporary aesthetics and we were able to apply designs utilising Flash to make real visual impact. We hired a terrific photographer to take shots illustrating the restaurant’s ambience and their creative flair for food. However, as with all our projects, functionality is paramount and we made it a priority for the site to be user-friendly and easy to find your way around.”
The new site (www.west-beach.co.uk) allows visitors to sign up for newsletters and features a dynamic database driven gallery system, showing photos from recent West Beach events for guests to view or download. Menus for lunches and dinners, plus information on private hire and regular events are displayed creatively, without lengthy downloads. It is RT Media’s underlying belief that innovative design, tailored marketing and high quality service should not cost the earth. By combining their design and web development experience with a comprehensive brief, they ensure that they get the project right; in this way they are able to ensure that costs don’t spiral out of the client’s control.
Andy Price, owner of West Beach, is so happy with the project that he is looking forward to continuing the site development with RT Media. He says, “RT are great to work with – they are on our wavelength and able to take our ideas, improve on them and produce a modern website that not only looks good, but actually works. These days, businesses in any industry need to be represented online and to stand out, it’s crucial to get both the design and functionality aspects right. In phase two of the site development, we hope to introduce even more interactivity, bringing in features such as enabling visitors to make table bookings online.”
