NewcastleGateshead Initiative appoint Mobious as Digital Agency

The destination marketing agency for NewcastleGateshead Initiative has appointed Mobious as their sole digital agency.
Mobious will be responsible for all online promotional elements within the digital activity for www.newcastlegateshead.com
Commenting on the appointment, Nicola Short, Head of Marketing for NewcastleGateshead Initiative, was clear on the reason for Mobious’ appointment. “We have worked with Mobious on a project basis for 2 years now and the impact they have had driving traffic to the site has been significant. As we look to increase the role of the site into being the major hub for the region it makes perfect sense to work with them solely to drive this forward”
Mobious, who scooped 2 awards at last month’s North East Digital Awards for Best Online Marketing Campaign and Best Mobile Marketing Campaign, are proving to be quite the digital experts. Iain Gibbons, MD of Mobious commented “every week you hear of another traditional agency entering the digital arena with the appointment of a specialist, but the reality is that you need to be grounded in digital to truly take advantage of the medium, not just open up another department to sell it.
