New City headquarters for growing Big Cat

Added: (Thu Mar 16 2006)

National media communications and events specialists, Big Cat Group has relocated their Birmingham offices to St. Paul’s Square.

The move from Brindley Place coincides with the company expanding its portfolio of services. Big Cat has doubled its amount of office space in the historic Jewellery Quarter, a melting pot for some of Birmingham’s leading creative consultancies, and only minutes away from the city’s financial district.

Established in 2000, Big Cat Group is a full service agency with offices in London and Birmingham. One of Birmingham’s fastest growing independent consultancies; they have secured several national and international contracts fighting off some stiff competition. These include My Travel, The Greater London Authority, The Scottish Executive and The Learning Skills Council.

December 2005 saw the launch of Big Cat Group’s corporate Christmas party brand, The Grand Winter Ball, an opulent event that was attended by some of the region’s leading companies. Over 1000 guests per night were captivated by the spectacular venue, winter themed décor, fabulous entertainment and stunning menu. The event is being expanded this year to incorporate a new exciting venue.

Since December, the business has undergone further expansion with the launch of a free venue finding service and the recruitment of a web design and creative team.

“By establishing a new, larger head office in St. Paul’s Square we can continue to raise our profile in the city,” explained Nick Morgan, Director of Big Cat Group. “The increase in our services portfolio is a direct response to the current and expected demands of our clients. We are increasingly seeing our customers wanting to out-source non-core activities to enable them to concentrate on their core competencies.’

Recently the company announced the appointment of local business mogul Paul Farrow to the board of directors, to focus on strategic planning and business development.
