This latest addition represents the hotel’s strong commitment to offering excellent dining options to all guests at Hilton Hanoi Opera. Chef Meynard will be responsible for all kitchen operations across all restaurants and cafes at the hotel.

Commenting on his new role, Chef Meynard said: "I am proud to be part of the Hilton Family at Hilton Hanoi Opera. This is the second time that I am working and living in Hanoi, and it has certainly deepened my love for the friendly people, unique culture and inspiring Vietnamese cuisine. I am excited and definitely look forward to the challenges ahead at Hilton.”

Chef Meynard has previously spent three years working at the Sofitel Metropole Hanoi, where he was an assistant to the Executive Chef. During that time, he also met and fell in love with his Vietnamese wife.

Prior to that, he had a notable 12-year working experience in other high-end luxury hotels such as Hotel Metropole Palace and Hotel Mirabeau in Monaco, as well as Hotel le Richelieu in France. Most recently, he was the Chef de Cuisine of Le Pré Lenôtre Restaurant at Sofitel Wanda Beijing.
