MRM Collaboration Promotes the Benefits of Microsoft Web Server to Web Development Agencies

Pressbox (Press Release) - MRM Worldwide (UK), IPG’s largest digital agency in Europe and provider of integrated marketing solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of the Microsoft Web Server campaign - a collaborative project with Universal McCann.

Having gone live on 6th November, the integrated campaign is targeted at web agency business development managers and is messaged to let them know that Microsoft web Server now supports PHP development – the embedded HTML scripting language widely used in certain areas of the web development community.

Portrayed as a romantic love story between the two technologies, the campaign focuses on the new business opportunities that can now be pursued by PHP based agencies. In particular, PHP based agencies will now be able to pitch for business in the Microsoft market without having to learn new skills as a result of the new compatibility between the technologies.

The integrated campaign is set to combine print based adverts in the marketing industry media and online activity initially focused on specific business networking sites.

“This was a challenging campaign as we were tasked with serving a very technical message to a niche business audience. It was also the first time Microsoft was attempting to reach this audience.”
