Rowena Cole success thrills sponsors Band Hatton

Pressbox (Press Release) - A magnificent performance from Band Hatton sponsored Rowena Cole at the IAAF World Youth Championships in Italy saw her capture a bronze medal with a personal best time of 2.03.83.

Cole, who runs for Godiva Harriers, was representing Team GB for the second time.

Earlier in the year, Rowena received a major boost when Band Hatton agreed to sponsor her and fund the purchase of various new training equipment.

Mark Moseley, practice director of Band Hatton, said: “When we first spoke with Rowena at Christmas it was so clear that she was focused on progressing and she said her first target was to be success at the World Youth Championships.

“She’s met that target and performed brilliantly during the event. Our office was delighted to see how well she’d done, but it is nothing less than Rowena and her coach Norma deserve.

“We’re very proud to sponsor her and we’re sure she’ll go from strength to strength.”
