Added: (Wed Mar 08 2006)

Pressbox (Press Release) - Medi-fiche is delighted to announce a series of medico-legal expert evidence seminars to be run throughout the UK in 2006/7.

An innovative seminar run in partnership with Lyons Davidson Solicitors – one of this country’s largest law firms and
Clerksroom - Europe's leading practice administration service for barristers, arbitrators and mediators in independent
practice. The seminars are hosted by medi-fiche, who provide a fast, cost-effective, medico-legal reporting service for the
legal profession, sourcing independent and unbiased reports for claimants, defendants and insurers.

A Continuous Professional Development (CPD) accredited seminar aimed at doctors who are already medico-legal
experts, and those who wish to become an expert. Legal executives, solicitors, junior barristers, paralegals and claims
management company staff, will also benefit from a clearer understanding of the law and ethics associated with
medico-legal reporting, as well as the use and abuse of reports, experts and evidence.

The course is designed to develop the skills needed to become a successful expert witness and covers the role of

medical evidence, the duties of an expert, report structure and content, giving evidence in court and witness box skills.
It also covers the most recent changes in the law affecting medical experts.
