NEW BOOK TO HELP PEOPLE COME TO THE UK

I read your article with interest, since we are Immigration Advisers and have just released a book to help people come to this country!
Please find attached details of a new book designed to help people migrate, study or settle in the UK. I also write a column for a UK magazine on Immigration and would be happy to submit some articles to you.
Every day we see so many people in our two London offices who have come to the UK with the wrong visas or who have received poor advice. We strongly feel that the only way we could get our message out to people before they made the mistakes, was to write this book. Knowledge is Power – Get the Knowledge
This is one example of someone who would have done things differently with the right knowledge:
Jun (not his real name) – a young man who came into our office last month. He is an Engineer by profession, but decided to take a six month “Caregiver” course so he could go to the UK and find work as a Carer. So armed with his Visitors/Tourist Visa and his Caregiver Certificate he boards the plane to London to “try his luck”.
In life, however, you need more than luck. Unfortunately, Jun’s caregiver course is not a recognized qualification in the UK.
Unless Jun has real experience in care work at the right level he will not be able to obtain a work permit in the UK, even if he finds an employer.
To add to his problems, even if he found work and obtained a work permit Jun would not be able to change his visa to a working visa without returning home to the Philippines.
We see this problem every single day and some of the stories are heartbreaking, which is why we wrote this book!

Although not expected to sell as many copies as JK Rowling’s yarn, the authors definitely feel their book will be of more practical value to people around the world!
