Pressbox (Press Release) - The owner of Cardo’s pizza, Kevin Ross in the US has amicably settled the trademark dispute with another user named Jeff Barker with respect to the usage of the trademark Cardo’s Pizza. The trademark Cardo’s Pizza was being used by two different proprietors in the US named Kelvin Ross and Jeff Barker. In the month of November 2011, Kelvin Ross had filed a suit against Jeff Barker restraining him to use the mark Cardo’s Pizza which creates confusion in the minds of the consumers. The law suit asked to surrender all nameplates, labels, advertisements or other materials for destruction. But, before the disposal of the suit, on 13th December 2011, both the parties entered into an agreement by amicably resolving the matter for the mark Cardo’s Pizza trademark. The agreement permanently prevents Jeff Barker from using the name Cardo's to market his products under the same name. If he does use the name, the agreement entitles Kevin Ross to liquidated damages of $2,000 for each day or part of day the violation exists.
