Web Forum Reader 2.0 - All Your Favorite Forums in One Program

Added: (Mon Oct 20 2008)

Pressbox (Press Release) - ChemTable Software announces the official release of Web Forum Reader 2.0 – a major upgrade of its forum-reading program. Web Forum Reader is unique software designed especially for reading Internet forums and conferences. Your favorite forums can be added to Web Forum Reader to keep you informed about updates and changes without loading the forums into a browser. Web Forum Reader saves time by showing new and updated topics while hiding topics that have already been read. Web Forum Reader also saves on traffic bandwidth costs by reducing the amount of downloaded data compared to regular reading using a browser.

Web Forum Reader users can mark new topics, recently updated topics, and topics that have already been read. When viewing topics with new posts, the built-in browser will automatically scroll the page to the new posts.

Web Forum Reader can be set to show only new and updated topics. Web Forum Reader will notify you only about new and updated topics in forums as soon as they appear. By marking the most interesting topics as favorites, the user will be alerted to new posts in those topics first. You can also view new topics in all forums in one list.

This new version of Web Forum Reader introduces many changes and improvements. Web Forum Reader 2.0 makes it easier to add new resources to the program. For instance, if a user adds one forum from a site, the program can find and add the rest of the forums located on that site automatically. Web Forum Reader now supports forums that require authentication and JavaScript.

The lite version of Web Forum Reader 2.0, without some of the standard version's advanced features, is available without charge.

Web Forum Reader 2.0 is compatible with all versions of Windows 32 and 64 bit, including Vista. The Full version of Web Forum Reader is available for $29.95 (US).
