UK Music and the Million Dollar Pixel Wave

Pressbox (Press Release) - Using the latest style of pixel advertising, a Sussex based creative partnership has launched a revolutionary way of promoting, selling and discovering UK music.

Ukbandpixel.co.uk took its inspiration from the million dollar homepage created by British student Alex Tew. Alex recently hit the world news with his million dollar homepage and successfully sold each of his one million advertising pixels for one dollar each.

A spokesman for Floyd, the Sussex partnership said " We should remember that Alex Tew made his money selling a service that people found useful. Our new pixel page, ukbandpixel.co.uk, gives bands, musicians, magazines, music venues and websites a high profile medium in which to promote themselves."

He added, " The links from pixel pages are a powerful way of attracting the attention of search engines. The more links Google finds to a website the higher it is ranked."

New bands can find it difficult to promote themselves. Therefore pixels cost just 50p and sell in minimum blocks of 100. Bands simply decide how many pixels they want, pay by credit card at the website and then upload an image to be used as the website link. A new band can start promoting their website by buying one block for just £50. With the high level of interest in pixel advertising at the moment and the unusual application of this site, ukbandpixel.co.uk should attract plenty of worldwide traffic.

Pixel advertising seems set to become part of the future of internet advertising. UKband pixel.co.uk leads the revolution.
