SILVERSMITH TAKES OFF WITH TRAVELPRICE.COM
Manchester-based full service marketing agency, Silversmith Limited, is preparing for take off with Travelprice.com, the pan-European on-line travel agent.
Silversmith has been appointed to handle a marketing budget of £1.1m for through the line activity of Travelprice.com (UK), which was established in Paris in 1995.
After a two-way competitive pitch against two other Manchester agencies Silversmith will implement its cross discipline campaign, which aims to raise awareness of the brand, both on and off-line, and drive traffic to the site (www.travelprice.com).
Commenting on the appointment, Joint Managing Director of Silversmith, Elsa Smith, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled about this win. Silversmith has only been around for 18 months and we are already landing accounts worth over one million pounds.
“We were determined to devise a campaign that addressed the business objectives of Travelprice.com. We have done that and are putting in place activities that will raise the brand profile and get more people visiting the site. Everyone at Silversmith is completely buzzing about this!”

The PR and advertising campaign will commence in January with a full site launch taking place in early Spring.
