Pressbox (Press Release) - KeyMS develops a unique website for C&A's ex-employees

The high street retail firm C&A recently launched an exclusive web site intended to assist its soon to be ex-employees following the planned closure of all of its UK outlets. Developed by KeyMS, www.la-canda.co.uk (Life After C&A), the first site of its kind, helps staff find employment and allows them to maintain contact with each other after they have left the company. Other useful features include: 5 Chat Rooms, Bulletin Board, Where are they now?, History of C&A, Events, Similar Interests.

Staff can fill in their CVs online and post them to www.CVs4UK.co.uk, a site which brings employers and recruitment firms in contact with jobseekers. Using a phonetic based search facility, the site also allows you to search through thousands of employee names even if you can't remember the exact spelling and then send an e-mail to the person without leaving the site.

"To have developed something helpful to the staff facing redundancy, a worrying time for anyone, was very rewarding.

Employers faced with redundancy problems in the future now know that there is a tailor-made solution they can provide their employees to alleviate the stress of the situation and help them along their way," says Andrew Chalmers, KeyMS CEO.
