The Free Office (www.thefreeoffice.com) is a new project dedicated to bringing you the best free software & tools for your office. Everything The Free Office promotes is completely free and very, very useful. The website is in its first stages of research and development but version one is now live.
The site is a gateway to 8 free, online tools. As an example of the sort of things The Free Office will be bringing you the website links to Open Office, the well known Microsoft Office alternative (which of course, is completely free) and also Spotify – the fast growing music streaming service. Other tools we link to are a website that offers free SMS messages and a separate service that offers free PC – Phone calls after watching a short 15 second advertisement. Of course no PC is complete without free anti-virus protection (in the form of AVG or Avast) and for all your business file needs – 50 GB of free data back-up (in the form of Adrive).
