LONDON: Trendsetting online luxury boutique MYVANITYCASE.COM is pleased to announce that it has won a 2005 Davey Award, having achieved a standard of excellence in relation to the design of its innovative lifestyle website. Myvanitycase.com was the only UK winner of an award out of more than 2000 entries from various countries and design teams through out the world.
The Davey Awards are international awards focused exclusively on honouring outstanding creative work from the best small firms worldwide. In the same way as David defeated the mighty Goliath with a big idea and a little rock, the Davey Awards set out to honour the achievement of the "Creative David's" where strength comes from ideas, intelligence and out-of-the-box thinking, not a "Giant's" bankroll.
The Davey Awards are judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), and underwritten by The Creative Group, the leading creative professional staffing company in the world, ADWEEK magazine and FSB (Fortune Small Business magazine).
“The Academy judged a remarkable pool of entries characterized by creative excellence, fresh ideas and great conceptual execution” noted Linda Day, a director of the IAVA. She added, “On behalf of the entire Academy, we are honoured to select such a diverse and accomplished pool of winners.”
