Psion France partners with BrainDock.com to
provide mobile software downloads
28 November, 2000 - Braindock.com ("Braindock"/LSE:BRC), digital distributor for the mobile Internet sector has today announced that Psion France has joined the Braindock etailer network, to offer software downloads directly from its storefront (http://www.psion.fr) to mobile devices and handheld computers. The Psion France storefront, hosted by Braindock, will enable the company to offer an extensive range of software titles for the Symbian EPOC platform, many of which are only available from Braindock.
By joining Braindock, Psion France can immediately participate in download software sales without additional investment or technology. Braindock will provide the e-commerce technology, infrastructure and transaction support to Psion France. Mobile software titles will be stored in Braindock's digital warehouse and downloaded to site visitors' mobile devices once a purchase is made through Psion France.
Jonathan Glaser, CEO commented: "This agreement further expands the global reach of the Braindock network and provides mobile software developers strong representation in France. Psion France will also now benefit from an instant access to a wide range of products."
Over 85% of e-commerce sites selling EPOC products, are powered by Braindock, who provides the highest exposure for developers of software for the Symbian EPOC operating system and offers them an immediate revenue stream.
