Pet Insurance Comparison Launch News

Pressbox (Press Release) - Somerset, England - A pet website has launched a news section with a 21st century twist.

In October 2009 Pet-Insurance-Comparison.net was launched, it's attraction being that visitors can compare pet insurance side by side without having to enter any details. Since then it has also launched an articles section on the site, aiming to demystify pet insurance with answer to common pet insurance questions.

Alex King, owner of www.pet-insurance-comparison.net, says "There are many websites that regurgitate the news and adding nothing to it. This doesn't give visitors the best experience, which is what we are aiming for."

As a result, today sees the arrival of a new addition to this website's proverbial arsenal: pet news with a twist. King says: "We wanted to provide pet news in an engaging way - not just words on a page. So the idea is to provide news with snippets of related video to really give extra value to the visitor."

The news stories are punctuated or broken up with one or two videos that relate to the news story itself - not necessarily telling the story of the news but related to it. They are more visual side notes than central to the story but King may be on to something. After all, video is one of the fastest growing mediums on the web.

Pet Insurance Comparison compares pet insurance for those who are deciding whether to take out insurance or those shopping for a new deal. This new section adds to that by providing news with videos and their own personality to enhance the experience.
