Pressbox (Press Release) -
Pulse Rated, Europe’s only internet based radio station playing nothing but new music from unsigned and emerging artists, have announced that they are to hold a Christmas party featuring six of their most popular artists at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 11th December.
All profits from the event will be donated to Oxfam.
The line up on the night will include Pulse chart regulars Donderdag, Scouting for Girls, The Naked Apes, Jesse James, Imperial Leisure and Transcargo. Tickets cost only £8.00 with a minimum of £5.00 going directly to Oxfam.
You can buy tickets securely online from the Shepherd’s Bush Empire website.
Transcargo
An exceptionally talented outfit. With members Mark Brown (Basement Jaxx) and Joe Auckland (Madness), the group have toured Brazil and featured on Italian Top Of The Pops.
Imperial Leisure
Imperial Leisure have headlined most London venues and supported bands as diverse as the Happy Mondays and The Levellers. They like to enjoy themselves on stage and that shows with their live performances.
Jesse James
These boys are really something special - they have performed 347 shows in 8 different countries including tours of the UK, Europe and Canada.
The Naked Apes
Their energetic live shows have won them support slots with the likes of Wheatus, Reef, Athlete and Fun Loving Criminals, plus headline slots at extreme sports events. Their music has featured in 7 Episodes of Punk'd on MTV plus the ‘World Wakeboard Championships’ TV Series.
Scouting For Girls
Fronted by CAPE vocalist Roy Stride, regular Pulse favourites S.F.G have also received regular air play on Radio 1 and performed at the Glastonbury festival. Considering this band only formed less than a year ago, S.F.G are one of the most hotly tipped artists to emerge in 2005.
Donderdag
Donderdag play a style of post-grunge with an attitude that makes people go to see them, have fun and celebrate life. Their headlining album track ‘Party’ has been featured on Radio 1 and on Channel 5.
