New Medialive Top 40 Irish Websites
Published by New Medialive the
latest Top 40 list of Irish
websites that accept advertising
has just been released.
The list shows Ryanair.com in the number 1 position with 31,922,915
page impressions. This represents
a 13.9% increase in page impressions achieved by the Ryanair site when
compared to the last Top 40 list of 08/12/00.
Ireland.com is in 2nd place with an ABCe audited figure of 24,658,379
page impressions for the period of March 1-31 2001.
This represents an increase of approx. 8 million page impressions or 47.5% on the last ABCe audit carried out in March 2000.
Significant increases were recorded
for a number of websites including RTE online, Unison, The Irish Examiner, and Pigsback.com.
New additions on the Top 40 list
this time include MyHome.ie, Monster.ie, Oxygen and RecruitIreland.com
Also included this time is a list of the Top 20 e-zine's with the Irish
Examiner coming out number one with approx 117,000 subscribers
to its weekly e-zine.
The New Medialive list is based on total traffic to a website over
a 1 month period between Jan-March 2001. New Medialive seek to verify traffic figures and the latest list contains 4 sites which have been
ABCe Audited.
Please note that a direct comparison between the Nielsen//NetRatings
figures which are based on a representative co-operative panel of
at-home users and the New Medialive list based on total site traffic
are not valid.
