Gifts and Gadgets Ltd. has recently launched a new web site selling four unique collections of unusual gifts (www.giftsandgadgets.co.uk), aimed at gift buyers looking for ideas which are a little different.
Their current product range includes amazing still-life ‘Freeze Frames’ ornaments, this year’s hottest gift 'Nutters' and the naughty hen night gift 'Dickheads'.
Although the company is small with just two employees it believes it can successfully compete with the larger gift retailers online.
‘Although I believe the Internet does not create a level playing field for the smaller retailer, it certainly lowers the barriers to entry’ said Bob Amore, Director at Gifts and Gadgets.
‘And more importantly smaller online stores don’t need to invest in expensive CRM application in order to provide excellent customer service’
By investing in easy online ordering, including real-time credit card clearing and becoming a member of the Which Trader scheme, Gifts and Gadgets are firmly focusing on it’s customers with it’s first step onto the Internet.
The site has been designed, set-up and marketing in-house and is currently receiving around 1,000 unique visitors a week.
