LIVINGSTONE CEMENTS POSITION AS LEADING CORPORATE FINANCE ADVISER TO THE MARKETING SERVICES SECTOR

Pressbox (Press Release) - Livingstone Guarantee has strengthened its dedicated Marketing Services team by adding to its panel of ‘industry experts’ with the appointment of two seasoned and high profile figures from the telemarketing and marketing strategy sectors.

Steven Jenkins has worked for many years at board level for numerous blue chip brand owners, having begun his career at Mars, which he joined in 1978 after working for T&N. At Mars Steven headed up the brand management of its highly profitable Klix vending operation as well as being responsible for national sales force management. As today, Mars was at the forefront of marketing best practice and Steven had an active role in shaping the then emerging direct marketing activity. He caught the direct marketing bug and left Mars to establish his own agency, SJA Direct in 1985. Twelve years later, he became Vice Chairman of Brann, after SJA was acquired by the Brann Worldwide division of Snyder Communications itself now part of Havas. Steven left Brann in 2000, and as well as a growing number of non-executive appointments, now runs Steven Jenkins Consultants Ltd to continue his passion for advising on direct marketing at a senior level.

Simon Roncoroni has been closely associated with the development of the Call Centre sector since its infancy in the 1970’s. In 1980, he was involved in the formation of the UK’s very first telemarketing agency. After a period as Marketing Director of BT’s Telephone Marketing Services business, which by 1987 had become Europe’s largest service bureau with some 900 employees, he founded the L&R Group in 1989. Known for its ground- breaking work with major corporations wishing to establish Call Centres, L&R became a highly successful consulting business. In 1997, Simon sold the company to SITEL, itself the world’s largest Contact Centre outsourcing company, where he headed their European consulting operations. In 2000, he left SITEL to set up another consultancy, SRC, where he continues to operate at the most senior levels of the Contact Centre sector.
