John Bridge Ceramic Tile Forums Achieve Front-runner Status
Begun in 2000, the John Bridge-Tile Your World ceramic tile forums have become the number one arrived-at Internet site for people interested in the ceramic tile industry and in completing their own tile projects at home. The forums provide timely and accurate information on all aspects of the tiling trade, and it’s all free.
The all-volunteer “staff” is composed of tile and stone professionals, engineers, and representatives from construction trades, carpenters, plumbers, cement finishers and others. Representatives from various tile-related products companies look in on a regular basis. The “forums” have become a hub for all things tile on the World Wide Web.
At the core of things is John Bridge and Associates LLC, a partnership of industry professionals who direct a group of 18 “moderators” who in turn keep things running smoothly on several message boards -- no small feat when you consider that at any given time there might be 150 visitors using the site. With over 12,000 permanent members, the forums attract an average of 60,000 new visitors per month.
