Internet Retail Technologies Ltd unveil Sector48, a new multi sector affiliate system

Durham, United Kingdom – August 12th 2006 Internet Retail Technologies (IRT) have launched a new multi sector affiliate system aimed at strengthening their position in the UK and Europe.
www.sector48.co.uk currently offers two ranges of products, Outdoor Equipment covering tents, backpacks, sleeping bags, head torches, sports watches; and Garden Leisure products. Leading with the product lines that will work best across an affiliate network, and offer the affiliates the greatest opportunity to earn, the range is likely to grow very quickly.
IRT currently operates primarily in the outdoor equipment and garden centre markets. Having initially established itself in the online garden machinery business it has grown rapidly through its BlueWorld websites. www.blueworldgardener.co.uk is driving growth in positioning itself as the online garden centre with the widest range of garden products.
On the launch of Sector48, Keith Watson, Director comments; ‘The Sector48 affiliate system will offer IRT a new strand to its distribution network. There are a wide range of companies that will be able to benefit from the service, either by taking a small range of products to compliment their existing range, or to take a wider coverage that will allow them to start penetrating new markets.’
‘The system has been developed to be scaleable and minimise maintenance requirements for both IRT and affiliate. A data feed is available which allows the affiliate to pull in real-time product descriptions and images meaning the whole network is displaying up to date information. Affiliates will also have full access to real-time performance reports.’
IRT is estimating that up to 20% of its overall sales could come through Sector48 in 2007. With online retail still showing strong growth statistics, IRT are confident the affiliate system will allow them to forge new and lasting relationships with other sites.
