With the current economic climate Internet dating is no-longer a taboo subject. Its becoming part of more and more peoples lives with the increase in internet use and a increase in people working longer hours than ever before, it seems everyone is logging on to find love for its convenience.
A young serial entrepreneur from Manchester is launching a further venture, called "Single Hot & Loaded" Founder and CEO Simon Francis Dunn explains, ''Single Hot & Loaded was formed to unite the nations army of singletons! I saw a gap in the market, consisting of time poor people, with large disposable incomes. This increasing market is down to people working longer hours and not having time to look or find romance themselves in a conventional way, such as through clubs or bars. What they are after is total control and convenience and with internet dating no longer a taboo subject, I guess what i wanted to achieve was something that no one had ever seen before, and I'm very happy with the final result, its been an instant success, we have successfully matched four couples already, with hopefully several more to follow!''
Single Hot & Loaded offers features that allows members to actually make money themselves through paypal, and fast! ''it works because of the virtual bar''. says Simon ''you basically see someone online who you like, buy them a drink using paypal, then this entitles you to an instant messenger conversation for five minuets with that member (just like how you would start a conversation in a bar or club). after the five minuets is up, the cost of the drink is transferred into the receiving members paypal account for them to withdraw!
Simon is confident the company will continue to prosper. "The environment is a driver," he says. "The currant economic downturn is an opportunity for us because of the number of single people no longer looking to go out every weekend to restaurants, bars or clubs to meet. What we are seeing is that people are looking to save their money and more and more are turning to online social websites such as Single Hot & Loaded for its targeted offering"
