Finisco reveal top 5 Valentine Gifts

It’s that time of the year again when all those people in love are wracking their brains to think of the ideal gift for their Valentine. The choices are limitless, from a romantic weekend away to cuddly toys all shapes and sizes, pampering sessions at luxurious day spas to hot air balloon flights.
It’s normally men who find it most difficult to come up with the ideal gift, never mind getting around to buying it.
So what can we girls expect to receive on 14th February?
Belfast based company Finisco Business Solutions, has revealed the top five gifts being bought on-line for Valentine’s Day based on a survey of 100 local men.
“ It would appear from the results that Northern Ireland Romeos still prefer the traditional gifts for wooing their better halves,” says Managing Director Ken Roulston, “ however on-line shopping has really taken off with 42% saying that they have previously used the internet for Valentine’s gifts and 68% saying they will be using it this year.”
Some of the reasons given for using on-line shopping included the convenience, delivery and gift-wrapping services and access to a wider range of gifts.
Ken explains,
“ Men notoriously dislike shopping, especially when it comes to buying personal gifts such as lingerie and beauty products. They can often feel uncomfortable in retail outlets specialising in these and prefer to browse on-line before making their purchases. The fact that many on-line retailers offer gift wrapping and delivery services is an added bonus.”
