Dedicated cash prizes multiplayer live online quiz open for registration

Leicester, 12th January, 2006 – With the launch of Quwiz looming, the UK has its first multiplayer, general knowledge quiz on the Internet, where contestants can win cash prizes – www.quwiz.co.uk
General knowledge quizzes are increasingly popular in the UK and around the world – think of TV game-shows such as Who Wants to be a Millionaire and board-games such as Trivial Pursuit.
However, there is no multiplayer, interactive quiz on the Internet that enables contestants to win cash prizes – until now.
“Quiz competitions have been a part of life for many years, from pub quizzes to television. However with the Internet, quizzes can become quicker and more exciting. They are also accessible around the clock. This is what we have aimed to do with Quwiz,” says founder Johnny Zen.
Quwiz games will be a lot of fun for players due to special ‘interactive’ features. For instance players who get questions right will be able to prevent other players from answering theirs.
“With a big appetite for quizzes, plus the advantages of the Internet, we expect Quwiz to be very successful,” says Johnny Zen.
