Added: (Mon Jan 29 2007)
Countrychannel.tv is a unique FREE-TO-VIEW internet TV service, offering a NEW VOICE to the countryside from its studios in Kiddington, Oxfordshire.

Countrychannel.tv is at the forefront of the broadband broadcasting revolution and is the first ever web-based TV channel for countryside enthusiasts worldwide. It was launched in June 2006 by David Cameron, MP, and its growth has exceeded all expectations! Countrychannel.tv now has over 20,000 regular viewers and around 50 new viewers are registering daily. People are watching Countrychannel.tv programmes in over 100 countries around the world - from Australia to Vietnam!
Paul Aitken is the founder and chairman of Countrychannel.tv. Paul says 'I've always believed that the future of broadcasting is the internet. The possibilities excited me so much that, in 1998, I was the first person to make a live webcast - somewhat ahead of its time - from Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire. I'm also passionate about the countryside and country issues and had a vision of one day starting an internet TV channel dedicated to all things 'country'.
In February 2006, Paul decided the time was right to turn his vision into a reality. Within only four months, Countrychannel.tv was on-line and broadcasting. Paul's belief in his new enterprise is so strong that he has sold VPTV, his successful broadcast facilities company, in order to devote all of his time and energy to Countrychannel.tv. Feedback from viewers is very positive and Paul looks forward to Countrychannel.tv becoming essential viewing for all country lovers everywhere.
