Birmingham vents its collective spleen

Pressbox (Press Release) - Mark Steadman, a web developer from Birmingham has just finished an imaginative new public-service project, which launched on Wednesday.

dialarant.co.uk is a website which allows anyone to share their everyday frustrations with the world, by calling a local-rate voicemail service then filling in a short form online. Mark then personally checks the messages and uploads them to the website for the world to hear and share.

The site was launched on Wednesday with the help of some of Birmingham’s most notable web presences, including Jon Bounds of birminghamitsnotshit.co.uk and Nick Booth of podnosh.com.

Mark also has a podcast at newmediajunkie.com, on which will feature his favourite rants of the week.
