A New Online Marriage Oriented Introduction Service Offers New Options for African American Women

Pressbox (Press Release) - A new online introduction service has been launched, specifically for African American women wanting to date and marry interracially and internationally. With email, IM and Skype, communicating across town or continents is simple -- providing a way for couples to easily connect.

Washington DC -- Black American Brides.com, a new, marriage oriented introduction service, has been launched. Hailed as an attempt to bring Canadian, European, Asian and Australian men to Black American women, by site owner L.M. Spencer, the service offers a little more than the myriad of dating services out there. In America, 70% of African American women are single and the majority of them want to be married, but feel their options are limited. So Black American Brides offers an alternative. Not all the women want to move overseas, so the service is also open to American men and men in the military, but the focus is still interracial marriage.

The site is marriage oriented so all the women profiled are ready for marriage and the gentlemen suitors, potential grooms must also be marriage minded. Compatible couples know upfront what the end result should be --- marriage. The general public is allowed to see bride profiles, but in order to contact them; the user must register and pay the sign up fee. An introductory price is charged and thereafter a monthly fee. Potential brides are signing up so there are always new faces to see. Potential grooms can write as many women as he wishes hoping for a love connection.

Some are students, some are working, some are visiting and many more are living with their husbands and families, happy with their decision to live overseas. Some are also military wives so their experiences differ to women living outside of a US military base.

Black American Brides is supported by advertising and membership revenue, and differs from traditional online dating sites in that it offers direct contact to the brides once membership is established. Skype and IM services have made direct contact easy and simple. Although BAB stresses to members that they must always be careful and take their personal security seriously, direct contact has its advantages.

Because Black American Brides are contacted directly and immediately, one doesn't have to be bothered with winks or nudges and that kind of thing. "Most dating sites offer a free sign up to post a profile, but in order to reply to any responses, you have to sign up and pay anyway. With BAB, you pay to be listed and pay to see the profiles.
