ARMY WIVES SPICE UP THE FRONT LINE WITH SAUCY PERSONALISED NOVELS

PERSONALISED novel specialist, U Star Novels, has seen a 40% rise in sales after saucy army wives started to send personalised novels to their partners based in Afghanistan.
The novels, which are now sold online at The Forces Store (the family gift store for The British Armed Forces) allows people to change the character names, eye colour, age and other personal details in the book to offer troops a sexy fantasy based around themselves and their wives.
Jules Prentice, owner of The Forces Store, said: “I saw the books on Dragon’s Den and knew I had to get one for my husband, Rob Prentice, who is with the 1st Battalion, The Mercian Regiment. He said it was the weirdest present he’d ever received, but he was so excited by the novel, and the fact that it featured us with perfect detail; I ended up buying the rest of the series too.
“Even when he’s in Afghanistan and I’m in the UK, these books will allow us to have sexy liaisons in France, Italy, Amsterdam and Spain!”
Katie Olver, Director of U Star Novels, said: “Army wives go through long periods of separation and these books are definitely adding a new dimension to their long-distance romances by spicing up things on the front line and when they get home.”
Olver created personalised books for the Dragon’s Den panel and received great praise from Entrepreneur Duncan Bannantyne.
