Almost 80 per cent of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are using the internet to shop on line according to a new survey from JupiterResearch.
Almost 80 per cent of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are using the internet to shop on line according to a new survey from JupiterResearch.
The survey found that using the internet to shop was almost as common as using email for SMEs and this usage has created an entire market for suppliers.
It was also discovered that SMEs often stay loyal to certain companies online. David Schatsky, president of JupiterKagan, comments: "Companies looking to grow online shopping for relationship-intensive products and services should consider targeting small businesses with tenure of less than two years."
