Pressbox (Press Release) - Zürich, April 2009 – From April, Elite members of Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts loyalty programme Club Swiss Gold can enjoy a very special service: During their stay at one of the international hotels belonging to the Swiss hotel chain, a range of exciting complimentary hour-long treats are available to guests, covering a wide spectrum of activities from creative to sporty.

The florist at Swissôtel Métropole, Geneva, gives guests an insight into the art of flower arranging, the award-winning cocktail bartender in the hotel bar offers a taster course, while the sommelier at Swissôtel The Stamford, Singapore, takes wine enthusiasts on a tour of the Equinox Restaurant’s exclusive wine cellar. An introduction to orchids of all kinds is available in the grounds of Swissôtel Nai Lert Park in Bangkok whilst the head chef at Swissôtel The Howard demonstrates how to produce a typical “British afternoon tea”.

“Offering this very special hour is our way of thanking our Elite members for their loyalty”, comments Debora Scott, Director Brand & Loyalty Marketing. “We hope our guests will enjoy taking a look behind the scenes, or it may be that they are very interested in a subject, but don’t otherwise find the time for it, or the right person to help them. At some hotels you can even book yourself a tennis partner for an hour.”

The Club Swiss Gold loyalty programme has been running successfully at Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts for many years. Members enjoy exclusive privileges at all the deluxe hotels in this international hotel chain. Further information, including information on Elite membership, can be found at www.csg.swissotel.com.
