Added: (Wed Aug 22 2001)
Andel Ltd, based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, is to export its automatic water pumping systems to Canada as a result of participation in Trade Partners UK’s Export Canada programme.
The Export Canada programme provided a package of assistance, which included: advice from commercial officers in Canada; a market assessment; a marketing course; support with a visit to a trade fair; advice on publicity and membership of the Canada-UK Chamber of Commerce.
Bart Turibamwe, international sales manager at Andel Ltd said: “We are confident that this is the start of exciting orders. The USA has started opening up for us too and we have already identified a distributor who will be able to take care of the eastern states.”
