The Global Mobility Forum launches in London in 2011

A new event targeting the booming international relocation sector is launching in London on the 4th March 2011.
The Global Mobility Forum will bring together exhibitors and delegates from the world of global mobility for a unique one day seminar and accompanying exhibition in the prestigious Business Design Centre in Islington.
The event has been launched as international assignments are set to increase by more than 50% out to 2020 according to a recent report by Price Waterhouse Coopers. The growing importance of international relocation was noted this week by the UK government, which despite cutting immigration numbers has exempted inter – country transfers; whereby migrant workers are transferred to Britain from overseas offices.
A packed seminar programme at the Global Mobility Forum will equip delegates with a greater understanding of the fast paced changes in global mobility. Topics to be covered include best practices in international assignee management, changes in immigration law, the impact of technological advances and emerging markets like Asia Pacific.
The exhibition, which will run alongside the seminar, will offer attendees the chance to talk to some of the leading companies and service providers in the world of global mobility, and exhibitors will include relocation agents, immigration specialists, financial experts and more.
