Carina Kivisto says "With more Internet users uploading their photos, we discovered the potential of users interested in have their digital images printed in larger format and onto special materials such as wallpaper. We introduced in October last year our first website, R2Canvas.com to cover the market for prints onto canvas, glass and textile in large format and the R2Wall is our second website in the same market segment.�
About Dotshape
Dotshape was started in mid 2006 between its two founding members, Carina Kivisto and Kjell Karlsson. Carina Kivisto enjoyed digital design and photo manipulation and started on her own time for fun. Kjell Karlsson has been working in the large format printing industry since 1994 and liked the idea to use open source software with some customization for the web development of the R2Wall website.
