Memorisethis.com Donates 1000 Battery Free Lifetime Torches to the Red Cross Disaster Fund

BOURNEMOUTH, January 5th 2005; Memorisethis.com has donated 1000 Perpetual Torches to the Red Cross Disaster fund to help with the devastation caused by the recent earthquakes and tsunamis.
With little or no power throughout most of the disaster affected areas, the Perpetual Torches can be used to assist aid workers or local families while working at night time or when lighting is poor.
Based on Faraday's law of induction, just shake the perpetual torch to pass the powerful magnet through a copper coil, creating a current; thus meaning that the torch can run forever without need for batteries, or replacement.
Max Walker, Managing Director of Memorisethis.com said, “Following a staff vote, we elected to send a practical donation rather than cash support; we hope that the thousand torches may give some help to the Red Cross Organisation.”
